LAW LIBRARY

The Law Library is the cornerstone of the College of law, located at the second floor of the Solomon Hall Building. It is composed of one professional librarian and one student assistant who perform functions related to the section.

The primary function of the Law Library is to serve the needs of the students and faculty of the college of law. Although intended chiefly to serve the Law School community, the Library facilities are also available to anyone who has need of its resources. Library is open to everyone who needs to do legal research. Due to space limitations and heavy usage by the law students, the law library is not available to non-law students for general study that does not require the use of legal materials. Reference Assistance is available at the Reference Desk.  The goal of the Library staff is to provide the best possible service to those individuals using the Library that will aid them in performing their own legal research. We encourage you to ask for assistance or information about library resources in order to help us achieve that goal, and ask that you kindly make suggestions, which will assist us in improving our services or collection.

The pages of our website offer information regarding our services, policies, our collection, and our Library staff. This site also offers access to our online catalog, online renewal and reservation. We hope you find our library site valuable and convenient.

We look forward to seeing you when you visit the University of St. La Salle Law Library.
