The Medical Library is for exclusive use of the College of Medicine students and faculty. Students from other colleges are allowed to enter the library for research purposes only.  Other users from other schools and companies are allowed to avail of the library facilities and resources upon presentation of referral letter from their respective schools, and company librarians.

Scope of Medical Library

The collection includes Medical, Nursing and other related allied science books both foreign and filipiniana; General Reference, both foreign and filipiniana; Journals, foreign and local.  Non-print resources, models, charts, etc. are also included in the collection.

Library Rules

For Medical Students :

1. May be allowed to borrow three (3) books at a time, provided he/she has no unreturned books.
2. May borrow books with location symbol (Med) for three (3) days and may be renewed for another 3 days.
3. May borrow books with location symbol (Med-R, Med-Fil, Med-Fil-R) and Reserve books for overnight use.

For Faculty members :

1. May borrow books up to a maximum of fifteen (15) titles.
2. May borrow books with location symbol (Med-R, Med-Fil, Med-Fil-R) and Reserve books for seven (7) days and may be renewed for another 7 days.
3. May borrow books with location symbol (Med) for fifteen (15) days and may be renewed for another 15 days.

For Other users :

1. Are allowed to photocopy books for 15 minutes only upon leaving the Identification card on the circulation counter.

     Graduate School and Law Students are allowed to borrow books following the circulation rules for the Medical students.

Note : Other library rules are the same with the general rules of the library.

Fines and other penalties

Overdue Books 

• For books with location symbol (Med) P2.00 per day, excluding Sundays and holidays.
• For books with location symbol (Med-R, Med-Fil, Med-Fil-R) and Reserve books P29.00 per day excluding Sundays and holidays.

Losses

• When a book is lost, the borrower should report it immediately to the Medical librarian.
