    The Graduate School Library is committed to suppot students, faculty and staff achieve the goals of intellectual growth and academic excellence, scholarship, research and instructions by providing sufficient updated collection for all courses of the graduate school. It provides an atmosphere conducive to reading and study and is easily accessible to graduate students and faculty.


Scope of the Graduate School Library

The collection includes post graduate books, General Reference books and journals both foreign and local (Filipiniana). Dissertations and Theses, On-Line Databases like EBSCO, ProQuest and ERIC. Non-print resources are also available and included in collection.

Visiting Users

 Researchers, Students and Faculty members from other schools /company can  avail  the library resources and facilities upon presentation of :

  • Referral letter signed by the Chief Librarian or authorized official
  • Valid Identification card issued by the school/institution/company
  • Alumni card for alumni

Restrictions:

  • All materials are for room use only
  • Referral letter should include the exact date or duration in using the library for research.
  • Referral letter does not include access and use of Instructional Media Services, Internet Resources and Facilities.
  • The Director of the library reserves the right to cancel requests when deemed necessary

    No fee should be collected from visiting researcher

GENERAL GUIDELINES
In order to perform its function to the satisfaction of all users, the Graduate School Library needs  cooperation by observing the following rules:

  1. Use of Identification Cards. When borrowing and returning library materials, present your properly validated School Identification Card.  You are responsible for any library materials drawn upon it.
  2. Use of Computer : Users should log-in at the circulation counter for password.
  3. Use of Discussion Room: Users should make the necessary reservation at  the Circulation counter .  Appropriate forms have to be processed and submitted for approval. Graduate School Faculty and Students are given priority.

Giudelines on Borrowing Materials  
For  Graduate School Students (enrolled)

  1. Books for general circulation may be borrowed for one (1) week and may be renewed for another week unless called for by another user.
  2. Maximum of  three (3) books may be borrowed at one time.
  3. Dissertation and Theses are for Room Use only and photocopying is prohibited .

    note: Graduate School Students may borrow books at the Main Library provided that they will follow the rules and regulations


For Graduate School Faculty

May borrow books up to a maximum of fifteen (15) titles for a period of 15 days, which may be renewed for the same period unless called for by another user.

Fines for Overdue Books
A fine of PhP 2.00 / day for overdue books excluding Sundays and Holidays.
Losses
When a book is lost, the borrower should report it immediately to the Circulation Librarian.  Otherwise, should the book become overdue, the borrower pays the overdue fine incurred until the day the loss is reported.
